Yeah vibe coding is a mode. You vibe code because it lessens the stress, than typical programming. if you use A.I for real projects you are a Programmer but AI assisted.
Angel Rei, on If you can code from scratch, are you still a vibe coder when you use AI?
It's like I know how to hammer a nail with a hammer but I use a nail gun anyway
Arthur Kay, on If you can code from scratch, are you still a vibe coder when you use AI?
Measuring the lines of code as some sort of measure of quality or productivity or complexity is like measuring the sawdust of a carpenter building a house.
Richard Armstrong, on What is the largest project you have vibe coded on your own?
I’m competing in a competition right now, that requires building out a portion of your own agentic harness and training a model. Claude code the harness, is very simple to recreate if you know what you are doing. Training a model the size of any of the Claude products from scratch is a multi million dollar endeavor.
Donald Galliano, on Could you build something like Claude yourself?
